Buffalo Chicken Chili has the great taste of buffalo wings in the form of a spicy chili. Great for fall!
I love buffalo chicken wings. I love chili. There is no possible way buffalo chicken chili could go wrong.
I actually made this a few weeks ago and fell in love with it. It’s spice and warmth makes it perfect for the soon-to-be cold weather. And it’s so incredibly easy to make.
Every time I eat this, I’m sad because it’s gone. I really need to make bigger pots of it.
Buffalo Chicken Chili
- 1-2 lbs chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 1/2 tbsps onion powder
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 2 tsps garlic powder
- 2 (15 oz) cans diced tomatoes, not drained
- 2 (15 oz) cans black beans, not drained
- 2 (15 oz) cans chili beans, not drained
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp chipotle chili pepper (or double cayenne if you don’t have this)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1-2 cups buffalo wing sauce, plus more for serving (I just put in half a bottle)
- ranch dressing, for serving (optional)
- blue cheese, for serving (optional)
- extra celery on the side (optional)
Step 01: All you really need to do here is toss everything into a crock pot and cook for 6-8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high.
Step 02: Serve and enjoy!
You can make a whole batch and freeze it for winter. If there’s any leftover, that is.
This is one of my favorite recipes! And every time I’ve introduced it to someone, they’ve loved it, as well. It’s tasty and warm. If you make it spicy enough (like this recipe), it will also clear out your sinuses. 😛

I know what you mean! I’ve gone to chili contests before and just knew I could never be a judge of one. Chili is always delicious, there’s no choosing. 😛
