I want to make this quick, because I’m in the middle of cleaning and organizing my entire apartment. So far, it’s no going as I hoped it would. (Side Note: Does anyone know how to remove adhesive tape from a wall? I tried “Goof Gone” but it’s also removing the paint. I’m entirely disgusted with this right now.)
My camera, unfortunately, was left at my mother’s house. Which means I don’t have pictures to show you. Craaaaaappp. I’ll upload them another time.
I spent this past weekend at my mom’s and the second night, she decided she wanted something sweet. So I made this for her. It’s delicious.
What you’ll need:
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 packages of chocolate chip cookie dough (the large one–I don’t remember the oz)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup sugar
Step 01: Spray an 8×11 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Let your cookie dough and cream cheese thaw. Once thawed. spread the cookie dough out over the baking dish.
Step 02: Blend cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until completely incorporated. Pour the mixture over the cookie dough.
Step 03: Open you second package of cookie dough and try to flatten it out so you can lay it over the cream cheese mixture. Do your best, it doesn’t need to be perfect.
Step 04: Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Let cool, cut, and serve. Store in the fridge.
I also made a batch of these for Zach to take to a party last week. They went over really well. Zach managed to bring some extras back and said they are great with coffee. If you’re not a coffee drinker, you really can’t go wrong with cocoa. 😛
This dessert is perfect for those days where you need to bake something (for instance, for an event), but have neither the time nor the energy. It can be as easy as going to the store, or you can go that extra mile and make everything from scratch. I used store bought dough, but you can use your favorite homemade dough, as well. (Don’t have a favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe? Try mine! :D)
