Lemonade Beermosas are a beer cocktail. They’re made with a Shock Top’s Lemon Shandy beer and Simply Lemonade. Substitute your favorite beers for your own palate. Easy to make and refreshing for a spring or summer day.
Beer cocktails are the best. Do you want something easy, simple, delicious? Even versatile? Beermosas are what you want. They hit every once of those boxes. You can customize them for all seasons (remember my apple beermosas last fall? Ohh, yes). They’re perfect.
My new favorite: lemonade beermosas. It seems using the Simply Juices line makes the best beer cocktails. This one uses Simply Lemonade and it is perfect.
If you’re not a fan of the Simply Lemonade, Homestead Creamery is a good option. In fact, probably the best I’ve ever had. But since Simply Lemonade is a more well-known one, I used it.
Who isn’t obsessed with lemons this time of the year? The weather is changing, we’re all sick to death of the cold. Nothing makes you prepared for warm weather like lemons.
Let’s move on to the recipe!
The Perfect Lemonade Beer Cocktail
- 12 (12 oz each) Shock Top’s Lemon Shandy beers, or other light-tasting beer
- 1.75 liters of lemonade (1 bottle of Simply Lemonade)
- lemons, for garnish
Step 01: Slowly mix the beer and lemonade together and serve cold! Add some sliced lemons to it, if desired.
How did it turn out?
Zach, who isn’t such a huge fan of lemon, loves these. They might be his favorite beer cocktail. I love lemon, though, so I knew they would be pretty delicious, even if he hated them. 😛
So I’ll call this a success!
If you haven’t seen them already, check out some of my other beer cocktails. I have apple, cranberry, strawberry, and peach (that one I wrote for Growing Up Gabel).
Looking for more lemon drink recipes? Check out the lemon mint pineapple mimosas that I wrote for Growing Up Gabel last month! And, just so you know, it’s a real mimosa. Not made with beer. 😛
How about you all? I’ve been posting a lot of beer cocktails. Have you tried any? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!

When they make these in Spain they use lemon soda. They’re called Claras when the bartender mixes them for you or Shandys if they come in a bottle. Great on a hot day! Thanks for sharing with Creatively Crafty
Yes, apparently “lemonade” in many other countries just means “soda.” They don’t have lemonade as we have it here. To them, that’s just juice. But an interesting idea. Thanks!
Wow! I love a good cocktail! And I’ve never heard of beermosas! A must-try!
Sounds yummy! I’ll be making some kind of strawberry lemonade drink this weekend. Maybe I’ll add beer! Stopping by from Wonderful Wednesday. Hope you have a great day!
Strawberry lemonade sounds like it would be great with this!!! If you’re a fan of bourbon, I made a strawberry lemonade bourbon cocktail (that I wrote as a contributor for Growing Up Gabel) that is SO GOOD.
Stopping by from Inspire Me Wednesday and so glad I did! This sounds delicious. Beer + lemonade sound like MY kind of drink! 🙂
